Daylight resins for 3D printing
We partnered with Forward AM, BASF 3D Printing Solutions, to create a range of Engineering Plastic Daylight (EPD) materials to serve a wide range of applications, delivering competitive pricing.
Our range of Daylight resins has been specifically developed for use on visible light printers such as our Liquid Crystal Magna and Liquid Crystal Titan printer, delivering functional properties effortlessly.
Daylight resins deliver the full selection of end-use properties, in large format and high-resolution. It is a lower energy, longer wavelength light which travels further and ensures more reliable polymerisation than UV.
Daylight unlocks the problems of curing dark coloured or particle rich formulations.
Rigid
Rigid DLFR is Photocentric’s first Daylight Flame Retardant resin with UL 94 V-0 certification, even showing self-extinguishing properties in the green state. Combined with an exceptionally high HDT and high tensile modulus, it is ideal for 3D parts in industries such as aerospace, automotive and railway.

Our plant-based resin has been specifically formulated to incorporate as much bio based material as possible whilst still retaining great mechanical properties. One of the main components used within the production process for the resin is Pinene, a compound found commonly in trees (specifically pine) as well as a wide range of plants such as rosemary and sagebrush and is a by-product of paper manufacture.
