Why is it called JENI?
JENI is named after the spinning jenny invented in 1764 by James Hargreaves in Lancashire, England. It was the first machine of the first industrial revolution. A multi-spindle spinning frame that revolutionised textile production allowing one worker to simultaneously spin multiple threads, increasing yarn output and shifting textile work from homes to factories.
JENI is the first machine of the fourth industrial revolution, providing a paradigm shift in mass manufacturing, as the first fully autonomous, digital alternative to moulding.
