Our core expertise is manufacturing photopolymer, packaging it in imagepac sachets and using them to make the highest quality, beautiful, clear photopolymer stamps.
Standard sizes
Our standard sizes are A4 (8”x12”), A5 (6”x8”), DL (3.5”x7”), A6 (4”x6”), P6 (4”x4”), A7 (3”x4”) and A8 (2”x3”). However, if you require a different size, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Our stamp sets are packed with a clear protective acetate sheet, a separate acetate sheet printed in black or colour ink with your design applied to the top.
We can insert a backing card printed in high resolution on quality card and insert them in a sealed clear bag with a hanging slot.
Automated stamp manufacture
We invested in state-of-the-art stamp manufacturing machinery to achieve the highest productivity, quality and reliability. Costa II is our automatic stamp processing machine, it’s a massive in-line processor of A3 sized, clear imagepac sachets. All sections of the machine are designed to deliver optimal stamp performance in a controlled environment ensuring you receive the highest quality possible, every time. Costa II is the only automated stamp producing line in the world, operating in both our UK and US facilities.
Bespoke ordering portal
Our artwork portal gives you access to your own secure artwork library containing your designs. Our simple to use ordering system means that it’s never been easier to turn your designs into high-quality products. How we guarantee dimensional accuracy in your clear stamps
The process of making your stamps
Artwork to negative
Your artwork is created from your digital file, and this is transferred to a printer to create the negative and is an exact physical representation of it. It is accurate to the thou as we use the highest resolution large format printers on the market.
Negative to stamp
Light from the exposure beds hardens the photopolymer. All liquids shrink in the transition to solid (water being the only exception) and photopolymer shrinks by about 3% in volume as it polymerizes from liquid to solid.
In our process this takes place slowly and the liquid resin that surrounds the cured stamps replaces it. When the exposure is finished, the light through the negative will have hardened the liquid polymer to be an exact copy of the negative, and it is a dimensionally accurate representation.
How we test and prove this
We will run periodic test negatives through, one is a curved protractor measurement and the other a straight rule, covering both straight and curved accuracy. We make them into a stamp and then measure against the physical standard.
