Lisa Miles
Commercial Manager
Prior to joining Photocentric in 2017, my previous career experience included international sales, sourcing, and account management within multi-channel retail, which included various other sectors alongside the Craft industry. Coming to Photocentric to head up Craft sales was a logical and exciting next step for me.
My role has expanded over the years, and I’m now Commercial manager for our 2D division, a role which involves delivering growth for the business, whilst working to deliver an extremely high quality of product and service, as well as new product development. My experience at Photocentric is enhanced by being able to work with an enthusiastic, and hard working team, who all put the customer’s needs at the forefront of their efforts.
Hanifeh Zarezadeh
3D Product Manager
I started working at Photocentric in the 3D Printing department about five years ago. I have a BSc in Ceramic Materials Engineering and MSc in Nanomaterials engineering. I have found Photocentric to be an ambitious place to work with a wide variety of opportunities available to all staff with employees being actively encouraged to learn new skills.
I have enjoyed quick career progression since I originally joined as a Development Engineer working on particle enriched photopolymers and my progress has happened because I have been lucky enough to work with an amazing team at Photocentric. We all enjoy the progressive and flexible environment which everyday allows individuals to grow and learn more.
Amir Ghaffari
Lead Ceramic Scientist
I was working as a faculty member in ceramics in Iran University of Science & Technology, engaged in ceramics for 10+ years and development of 3D printing ceramics for 5 years. I was also CEO of the Institute of Additive Manufacturing and successful in the research and educational world in Tehran. I chose to work at Photocentric, because it was an amazing company offering me an amazing challenge – optimise the process of mass manufacture of ceramics, something I had always been passionate about. Now I am leading a team of three scientists in a vibrant busy and happy working environment, doing something we all feel is important.
Adam Gradys
Stamp Production Line Leader
My journey at Photocentric began in 2018, working on the automated stamp manufacturing machinery in the production area (Costa). I was responsible for cleaning clear craft stamps and was immediately promoted and moved from cleaning to cutting and removing layers of film on stamps.
After 1 year of working at Photocentric, I was once again promoted and became a Line Leader and now I run my own shift, managing a team of people, improving processes, and working to SOPs. Photocentric gave me my first opportunity to work in manufacturing, as previously I was a supervisor at a local Shell petrol station. I am proud of my achievements so far and for being a member of the Costa team. I cannot wait for another year to fly by working with our amazing team.
Mateusz Bączek
Production and H&S Manager
I started working at Photocentric in 2013, a few months after I moved to the UK. I found myself in a completely new industry, different to what I had been preparing for during my Internal Security course at University in Poland. Fortunately, I was in a good place at the right time surrounded by good people who supported me in this new situation. I found Photocentric to be a good place to work, a place full of opportunities, where dedication and hard work is rewarded.
I truly enjoy working at Photocentric and I feel I am a part of the company. Currently I am involved in exciting projects, one of them is manufacturing 3D resin for the biggest chemical company in the world – BASF.
