Senior Battery Research Scientist
The role: Exciting opportunity to work on one of our core research topic, 3d printing of batteries. This project focuses on the design of a 3-dimensional battery cells with improved performance, the development of suitable 3d printing materials for this application and the validation of the 3d printed battery cells in a real application. You will lead the development and testing of battery cell components, design of battery cells with optimized geometry and lead the work on the design of 3-dimenstional electrodes.
You: Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with battery materials, proven electrochemistry with battery materials and battery testing experience. Highly motivated and results driven. Degree in chemistry, material science or similar, preferably with a PhD.
Battery Research Scientist x 2

You: Some industry experience with battery materials would be an advantage together with proven electrochemistry with battery materials and battery testing experience. Highly motivated and results driven. Ability to report detailed results. Degree in chemistry, material science or similar, preferably with a PhD.
Technical After-Sales Manager
The role: The Technical After-Sales Manager will be a highly customer focused individual who can build a strong technical customer services team that will provide a world-class aftersales support to our customers and distributors worldwide. You should be a driven induvial who has the confidence to set up a new team and implement procedures and processes. You will support product managers to prepare After-Sales program, documentation, warranties and service prior to product launch, during life of the product and at end of product life cycle. Inspire and lead your team to achieve their full potential, delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
You: Experience in a similar role ideally leading and managing a technical support team. Capable of setting up a new team and implementing procedures and processes. Leadership and troubleshooting skills and self-motivated person who has a strong work ethic, creative and a customer -centric personality.
Development Engineer – Metal 3D Printing (KTP Associate)
The role: We have a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) in collaboration between The University of Sheffield (Department of Materials Science & Engineering) and Photocentric Limited to be part of a team pioneering the next evolution in metals 3D Printing. We aim to develop a novel, metal 3D printing platform.
The work will be based at Photocentric and will involve accessing the University’s state of the art Royce Translational Centre. You will be developing the new printing process and its subsequent post-processing operations to optimise the production of test coupons and components. Investigation the metal powder feedstock and material performance for a range of alloys.
You: You will be a highly driven researcher with excellent project management skills who is comfortable contributing to a wider team of scientists and engineers. Confident to present your work to the wider Photocentric team as the project will impact on strategic decision making and commercial activity. Candidates must have at minimum of a degree in science/materials/engineering with some research experience or a PhD seeking their first research role.
Software Engineer (3D Printing)
The role: Working in conjunction with the Software Manager to deliver software solutions for 3D printers. Define and build software processes to support printer requirements and aid in the design of printer controllers, automated software processes and deliver in line with the full software development cycle.
You: Proven experience of working in a similar role as a Software Engineer with knowledge of Raspberry Pi and Java Development, Linux, Git, IDEs (VSCode/Studio/Eclipse) and HITML. Ideally experience in design engineering environment and the willingness and ability to analyse market, competitors and technologies
Senior Operations Manager , Phoenix, AZ
The role: The Senior Operations Manager will be located in our production site at Phoenix, Arizona where the design and production of our craft and office stamps are produced and our 3D Printers are distributed. Managing the day to day running of the Phoenix site operations delivering production capacity to meet customer demand. Full accountability for leadership and management of the division, with regular reporting to the UK Head office. Manage operations budget to ensure minimal production cost and optimal product quality. Review production processes and procedures to ensure they operate at highest possible efficiency.
