IntelliJeni – faster, cheaper, cleaner production by integrating AM and machine learning

This white paper reports the results of a collaborative project in which Photocentric’s JENI™ 3D printing platform was enhanced through the integration of Alchemite™, the machine learning technology developed by Intellegens, to optimise and automate advanced additive manufacturing processes.

3D printing has already transformed the way complex components are manufactured. At Photocentric, we’re taking this transformation further with JENI – an intelligent additive manufacturing system that redefines how production can be faster, more cost-effective, and more sustainable. By combining our cutting-edge 3D printing hardware with advanced machine learning, JENI becomes a self-optimising system that learns and improves with every part it produces.

The IntelliJeni project, a collaboration between Photocentric, Intellegens, and AMFG, has resulted in an innovative, AI-driven approach to additive manufacturing. At the heart of this system is the integration of the powerful Alchemite™ algorithm from Intellegens, which has been tailored to extract deep insights from experimental and process data. This allows JENI to make real-time adjustments to printing parameters, maximising efficiency and part quality.
