PHOTOCENTRIC STUDIO INSTRUCTIONS

Re-skinning the vat film is optional. Replacement disposable vats can be pruchased from our shop.

LC Precision 1.5 touch-screen not working

 

1- Restart your printer. If your LC Precision 1.5 touch-screen is still not working after restarting your printer proceed to Step 2.

2- Contact our Technical Support team or your Distributor. Our Technical Support team or your distributor will need to diagnose the problem.

LC Precision 1.5 red calibration grid not appearing on print LCD screen display

 

1- Press “Maintain” on touch-screen. (As shown in figure 1)

2- Next press “On” to turn on LED. (As shown in figure 2)

3- Then press “Show Grid”, give your grid a few seconds to load. If the grid does not appear on your LCD screen display after waiting, proceed to Step 4.  (As shown in figure 3)

4-Contact our Technical Support team or your Distributor. Our Technical Support team or your distributor will need to diagnose the problem.

No file showing on LC Precision 1.5 touch-screen

 

1- Insert USB stick into the USB port on printer and press “Print” on touch-screen. Give your file a few seconds to appear in the print job queue. If your file does not appear in the print job queue on touch-screen after waiting then proceed to Step 2.

2. Go back to Photocentric Studio and check which profile was selected, it needs to be LC Precision 1.5. Select Precision 1.5 profile and the correct resin profile, then re-slice your file.

For the correct procedure on re-slicing your file, refer to pages 8-9 of your Precision 1.5 instructions.

3- Copy your file from your desktop to a USB stick. Do not save your file straight onto your USB stick after slicing, save this first on your computer desktop. Make sure your file type is cws.

4- Repeat Step 1. If your file is still not showing on LC Precision 1.5 touch-screen proceed to Step 5.

5- Contact our Technical Support team or your Distributor. Our Technical Support team or your distributor will need to diagnose the problem.

Note: If you are using Photocentric Studio you will need to ensure that when you open Support Mode that you exit this by pressing, “Finish Supporting.”

Test File Not Found on LC Precision 1.5

 

1- Press “Print” on touch-screen. Give test file a few seconds to appear in the print job queue. If test file does not appear in the print job queue on touch-screen after waiting then proceed to Step 2.

2- Download the LC Precision 1.5 test file from our

3- Save test file to your desktop and then to a USB stick.

4- Insert USB stick to Precision 1.5 and Repeat Step 1. If test file is still not showing on touch-screen after some time proceed to Step 5.

5- Save test file to different USB stick. Once loaded repeat Step 4. If test file is still not showing on touch-screen proceed to Step 6.

6- Contact our Technical Support team or your Distributor. Our Technical Support team or your distributor will need to diagnose the problem.

Resin residue on LCD screen display

 

1- Mop up liquid resin using absorbent paper or a damp tissue with soapy water or IPA. Hardened resin needs to be removed gently with provided white card scraper. Read page 14 of your LC Precision 1.5 Instructions for the full resin removal procedure.

2- Check your vat before setting up a new print. Your vat may have leaked which caused resin to leak onto your LCD screen display, read pages 15-16 of your LC Precision 1.5 Instructions for the correct re-skinning of vat procedure.

It is extremely important to keep your LCD display screen clean from any resin and your vat film tight and undamaged. If not, you risk print failures.

Print Failure

 

1- Use our Print Quality Troubleshooting Guide to detect what print failure you have experienced, what caused your print to fail and how to fix it. If you are unable to find your print failure via our troubleshooting guide proceed to Step 2.

2- Contact our Technical Support team or your Distributor. Our Technical Support team or your distributor will need to diagnose the problem.
